Sentinel Photonics
Stephen So, PhD, Co-founder and President
Sentinel Photonics provides a new class of sensor technology for environmental and industrial gas sensing applications via laser spectroscopy. We develop compact, low- maintenance, high-precision chemical sensors optimized for use in wireless sensor networks. In addition we develop and sell proprietary sensor components including ultra-compact gas cells and laser control circuit boards. Our patent pending technology directly addresses the technology gaps that have made portable chemical sensing difficult and cost prohibitive. Furthermore, our platform technology is easily adaptable to a variety of chemicals and industries. Key applications for wide-area chemical sensing include air pollution and industrial monitoring.
