Regional Director, NJSBDC at Rutgers-Camden

Gary is a long time resident of South Jersey, growing up in Willingboro and graduating from Kennedy High School in 1972. Currently he resides in Moorestown, NJ. Gary is the director of the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at Rutgers University-Camden (SBDC). Gary has been with the SBDC since 1994.

Gary has a Master’s of Business Administration from Rutgers University and is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey. His business career began in bank accounting where he was the Treasurer of a Philadelphia Savings & Loan Association. After a stint in banking he joined his family as an owner/operator of several retail establishments in South Jersey. He gained additional business experience by providing public accounting services for business owners.

Currently Gary manages a staff of consultants and independent professionals that provide free confidential management consulting to new and existing small businesses in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem Counties. The Camden SBDC assists over 1200 clients and trains an additional 1400 individuals each year. Gary was presented with the NJSBDC “Star Performer” award at the National Conference in New Orleans in 2004.

Gary’s consulting efforts focus on business start-ups, business plans, loan proposals, financial analysis and NJ Small, Minority & Woman Certifications.
