The Rutgers Newark SBDC will host a 1 Day Workshop that would cover the how to find and apply for government contracts and give you an in-depth understanding of the Federal Procurement Process. 

In this workshop you will learn:

  •          How the procurement process works including commonly utilized FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) clauses;
  •          How to conduct THOROUGH market research to FIND OPPORTUNITIES  (Find out what products and services the government is currently buying or looking to buy.);
  •          Which Small Business Certifications are needed to sell to the Government and how to apply for them;
  •          How to effectively leverage these certifications to WIN GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS.

The workshop will comprise of many
hands-on exercises that will show you how to research, market and register online using SAMS and other Federal procurement systems. Prior to leaving this workshop, you will know how to sell to the government.
This workshop is perfect for those who are new to government contracting, as well as business who currently do business within the commercial sector but want to branch into the federal marketing arena.
