Event Description:

Since Hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey talking about Disaster preparedness was trending! But are you focused on Business continuity? Disaster preparedness usually leads you to emergency planning of what to do during the disaster event. We want You – the Business Owner – to be thinking long term in terms of how you keep your business going once the disaster moments have passed and you are left to pick up the pieces. This is a paradigm shift. In our counseling of small businesses for the past 3 years after Hurricane Sandy, we discovered that many companies were not prepared enough. For example, many were able to account for physical injury to the business, but economic injury left them crippled for month and in some cases years. We also learned that not only did the disaster affect their business it adversely disrupted their personal lives too!
